Well, this time, I’d like to invite you to see some beautiful views of the Bogor Palace taken from several angles. You can see why Bogorians are so proud about this cultural heritage of the Rain City of Indonesia.
There will be ten pictures taken and at the end, I would appreciate if you can give a comment if the title of this writing is correct or not.
Let’s start our tour
The Front View Of Bogor Palace
Taken from a distance by Fuji Finepix HS 35EXF. This is the appearance of the previously known De Buitenzorg mansion built in 1745 by Baron Von Imhoff.
This is the right wing of the Bogor Palace, again taken from a distance about 150-200 M. Public can not enter to the palace, so I need to use the capability of the camera zoom feature.
You can see a group of White Spotted Deer (Axis Axis) in front of the wing
The picture is the right wing of the presidential palace. Again with a group of deer . It can not be avoided because more than 600 deer living in the small meadow, the front yard of the palace.
The deer has also been assigned as animal icon of the city.

Bogor Palace and The Gunting Pond
This is the appearance of Bogor Palace from behind aka Bogor Botanical Gardens.
The place is one of the favorite site to take a picture because the gallant palace is combined with the pretty of the Lotus on the surface of Gunting Palace
The appearance froma another angle of the pond shows the beauty of the palace.
Each components in the picture has its own history. Each has its own beauty.
How about if all of the three are combined. The result is as shown on the picture. This photo was just taken using a smartphone camera of Xperia M, a low end mobile phone and without using any editing software
Bogor Palace and The Hand of God
Where is the Hand of God?
Can you see it? The tall statue on the pole is called The Hand Of God given by Swedish Government.

Bogor Palace and The Little Mermaid
See a little silhouette in front of the picture? A little lady staring at the pond.
The figure is the shape of The Little Mermaid Statue presented by Danish Government.

Others
Still with Gunting Pond but from different angle. What do you think? Is it still gorgeous? I think so.
Blocked by trees but the tree can not do enough to hide the pretty palace, even it adds some green aspect to the view.
Isn’t it awesome? You are crazy to say otherwise
Well, I think it is enough to say my point. Even though most of the pictures were taken from behind, you surely will get the point.
There is a reason for being only able to take pictures from behind because, like also other presidential palaces in the world, it is not easy to obtain an entry permission. Especially, now the Palace is used for Indonesian President more often than before.
As a closure of this article, I will give one bonus, not the view of Bogor Palace butÂ
A picture of Lotus on Gunting Lake taken when I shot my camera to take the pictures of Bogor Palace.
